Nob Hill favorite opening doors to second location

Westside residents can now grab a bite to eat or enjoy a local beer with a new restaurant on the corner of Alameda Boulevard and Ellison Street opening its doors.

Matanza owner Peter Gianopoulos told Albuquerque Business First he will be opening Wednesday.

Gianopoulos said he is leasing the 10,000-square-foot location from Coe & Peterson. Coe & Peterson purchased the five-acre property off Ellison and Alameda, now dubbed The Ellison Project, for $3.8 million. It will also have a patio and a bigger menu than the Matanza in Nob Hill.
